Q16
1970

The tersely-named Q16 loudspeaker was introduced in 1970 as part of the successful and popular Project 60 modular hi-fi range. Designed by one Wes Ruggles, it certainly looked nice in its teak case, even if its sound quality was somewhat suspect (a sign of the device's budget origins). It was eventually superseded in 1972 by the Q30.
