Aim of the game
Twister, one of the most powerful demons of Hell, is trying to
corrupt mankind to the point of destruction. You've been chosen to
save mankind from her; to do this, you have to travel through your own
subconscious in order to gather various sacred symbols that will
enable you to vanquish Twister and her underlings.
Game play
The game is divided into a number of sub-games. The first
involves jumping across a series of platforms as they approach and
collecting the objects that appear on many of them. Twister's minions
will try to hinder you, but you can shoot them down using psychic
weapons which you can gain by collecting four special suits of cards
that appear while you're fighting. When a demon is shot, it drops an
object, many of which are useful (the triangle of darts gives extra
firepower). Two however cause either a loss of energy or the loss of
the loss of the last object to have been picked up.
The next section has you travelling down a pseudo-3D gridwork corridor
inhabited by the demons. Here you must collect the characters making up
the Word of Ultimate Power. The next corridor is walled but is much the
same except thhat signs of the Zodiac must be collected. If you succeed
a jet pack propels you towards a confrontation with Twister herself,
who looks unnaturally like a flower in a plant pot. Demons must be
eliminated before the Triangle of Truth materialises; if this is touched
in time, the warhead of the psychic bolt displayed at the bottom of the
screen begins to flash. A direct hit down Twister's throat is necessary
to kill her, and you only have one shot, so timing is critical!

Now
A simple enough shoot-em-up. (It was originally going to be
subtitled "Mother of the Harlots" before someone explained to the
author what a harlot was...)
