Aim of the game
Magic Knight, the hero of FINDERS KEEPERS, has been caught in an
unfortunate magical accident. His old tutor Gimbal the Wizard has been
trying out some old spells to make rice pudding taste nicer.
Unfortunately he's got the spelling wrong and teleported himself to
the magical Castle of Karn, and dragged seven other people along with
him. As Gimbal becomes trapped, he projects a last desperate message
back to Magic Knight: "I've taught you enough to rescue us all. Magic
Knight, you are our only hope!"
Game play
The game uses a then-innovative windowing menu system
called Windimation. Using a joystick or keyboard, commands are given
by selecting options from a series of nested menus that pop up on the
screen. New options will appear on the main menu as the game
progresses and problems are solved.
Comments
"An outstanding game".

Now
A classic arcade-adventure that was to set the pattern for a
series of games starring Magic Knight and using that unique
"Windimation" interface. It's still a very playable - and tough! -
game.
