Aim of the game

As Second Officer on an interstellar liner, it's your job to look after the exterior of the ship. This is normally pretty easy, since much of the task is usually done by robot survelliance craft. However, today the ship's main computer has broken down while you were out on the hull, as a result of which the ship's defences now think that your craft is a hostile intruder...

Game play

There are three sectors of the liner's hull to penetrate in each of which is a device that you must destroy in order to get to the next sector. Your craft is armed with powerful welding lasers which you can use to destroy hostile objects in your path. You also have three shields - the number remaining is shown at the top left of the screen. Shields are lost after several hits have been sustained.

From time to time you'll need to enter the inner sections of the hull. To do this, you must hover over a hatchway and press fire to open the hatch and enter. You can also fly upside down by flipping your skimmer. When flipped, you will be slower, but able to get underneath structures which are otherwise impassable. The skimmer can only flip while clear of any deck obstruction.

A very pretty and rather underrated shoot-em-up.
