In May 1999, Sinclair bettered the tiny
X1 Button
Radio with the even tinier Z1 Micro AM
Radio . The device, which looks vaguely like a hearing
aid with an aerial sticking out of it, weighs only half
an ounce and is worn in the ear. The radio can tune
into AM frequences from 530-1600 KHz. Its tiny size
makes tuning somewhat fiddly, however.
