I thought so, but felt better asking first. Still trying to get a feel
for things here.
Just speaking theoretically here, but say I do a major rewrite or
update, email the listed maintainer, and he does not like it. Should I
just not worry about this? Does LDP give current maintainers more say
on what goes in, or does LDP take what it wants to take regardless of how
the listed maintainer may feel? Just curious, and hope this is not a
stupid question.
Also, is there any guidelines on changing a HOWTO title? Looking at
the at current state of DSL, ADSL is just one of several related DSL
technologies being deployed. This would seem to be a good place to at
least address some of the newer xDSL flavors that I'm sure some users
are running into. But then, the 'ADSL' title becomes a bit misleading.
Then again, I can see the other side too, where changing the title
would confuse those that are used to finding it as 'ASDL'. ?
