Is this a trick question? Because he was uncompromising?
There is a big difference between GPL->LGPL and Open Documents->Exclusive
publishing deals. They're in completely different leagues.
The GPL->LGPL was a move to greater freedom at the cost of exclusivity.
What is being proposed works in completely the opposite direction, it is
a move to restrict the publishing of documents by introducing exclusivity.
