Sinclair ZX Spectrum FAQ

This FAQ last updated on 11 Aug 2000 - What's new?

Maintained by Philip Kendall

This document covers information on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum computer and questions that appear frequently on the comp.sys.sinclair USENET newsgroup. This Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document is based on the FAQ as previously maintained by Marat Fayzullin and Damien Burke.
Important: email addresses within the FAQ are spamblocked; you must remove the .no.junk.mail text from the end of every address before sending.
Also, please read the copyright notice below.

The primary site for this FAQ is http://www.ast.cam.ac.uk/~pak/cssfaq/index.html, which is hosted in the UK. If you are elsewhere in the world, you might like to try one of the following mirrors:

http://www.albertopalladini.it/spectrum/index.html (Italy) http://lurch.ucd.ie/~sinclair/cssfaq/index.html (Ireland)
http://www.void.demon.nl/faq/index.html (Netherlands) http://www.void.jump.org/faq/index.html (Netherlands)

http://spectrumworld.welcome.to/faq/specfaq/index.html (USA) http://www.outlawnet.com/~jboatno4/cssfaq/index.html (USA)

There was previously a Norwegian mirror of this FAQ, but the maintainer is having problems updating it and it is getting on for a year out of date. Using a different mirror is highly recommended.

Alternatively, you may prefer to download a zipped copy for offline reading; this is currently available from The Netherlands or the mirrors of this FTP site; see the Essential Sites section for details: the FAQ should be in the `specfaq' directory.
